The Sejong Multicultural Centre is a non-profit organization
establishing itself as an important pillar of the community
by promoting cultural diversity and offering a variety of programs
from education, daycare, health & fitness and more.
Strengthening the community through cultural vitality,
programs and special events are keys to a better future.

The Edmonton Korean Canadian Cultural Foundation was formed 15 years ago to preserve Korean culture and identity as well as make a positive contribution to the local community.
Our vision is to be an integral part of the Edmonton community along with our partners, committed to building neighborhoods that are caring, vibrant and peaceful.
The foundation initiated the plan of building a multicultural center in 2003 and completed the construction of our $5 million building in 2013. From 2003 to 2013, many individuals, businesses, and government organizations supported this project. For the past ten years, we never forgot why we wanted to build a multicultural center.
A dream of our founders fifteen years ago has transformed to become a vibrant and active community cultural centre today. We are planning to acknowledge the leadership, dedication and contributions of these leaders to the centre.
Let's celebrate our future together!

Thankyou for taking the time to explore the Edmonton Sejong Cultural Center website.
The Edmonton Korean Canadian Multicultural Foundation(EKCCF)is a federally Registered charity organization established in the early2000s.
It took the lead in the construction Of the Edmonton Sejong Cultural Centre,
a remarkable initiative made possible through The generous contributions of Korean residents
in Edmonton, Alberta, as well as Support from the city and provincial government.
The Sejong Cultural Center stands as a remarkable testament to the unity and passion Of the local Korean diaspora, supported by local governments, achieved without Assistance from the homeland.
Its establishment not only elevated the status of Koreans in immigrant societies But also played a crucial role in addressing the cultural void in the South Edmonton area.
Currently, EKCCF is managed by a dedicated board of 11 volunteers
and a center Manager who have successfully overseen its operations since2013.
In line with its mission to promote Korean culture,
EKCCF developed and registered the Sejong Cultural Foundation as a non-profit organization under the
Albert aprovincial government in 2019.
This registration enabled the execution of various cultural events and activities Before the pandemic and the continuation of cultural and sports activities Through the Sejong Cultural Center.
Additionally,EKCCF takes pride in establishing the Sejong Orchestra as a foundation-run program in 2019, Actively engaging in regular and charity performances that significantly contribute To the local Korean community.
Furthermore,since 2023,we have been supporting
The Sejong Children’s and Women's Choirs through the Sejong Cultural Foundation.
EKCCF operates through partnerships with local businesses, government grants,
casino funding,and generous donations from individuals.
Undoubtedly,the Sejong Cultural Center is a source of immense pride for the local Korean community,
serving as both a tangible and intangible asset that reflectsthe Strength and determination of Koreans.
We eagerly anticipate further advancing our mission at EKCCF and making substantial Cultural contributions
to the Edmonton community through the Sejong Cultural Center.
